Welcome to our website! Ide Hill Church of England School is a friendly village primary school set in Ide Hill, the highest village in Kent. We offer places to children from the age of 4 to age 11 (Reception to Year 6).
Formed in 1809 to educate the children of farm workers and hop pickers in the area, Ide Hill School has a rich and proud history. Our newly modernised and extended buildings are in a stunning setting overlooking the Kentish Weald – just minutes from Sevenoaks, Westerham and Edenbridge.
At our school we
- Value each individual and encourage all children to learn within a nurturing, Christian ethos.
- celebrate community and friendship alongside academic, creative, sporting and personal success.
- promote enjoyment in learning.
- Value and reward effort and determination.
PTA 'Cash for Coins' Project
Here at Ide Hill School we are busy fundraising by collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, even obsolete currency. Initially you'll see lots of posters around the school as well as the collection bucket. Once all the currency has been collected we send it to www.cash4coins.co.uk who exchanges it into cash we can use. The bucket will be here all year so please keep donating. Thank you for your support.
Ide Hill children celebrate their 100% 11+ pass rate!
We would like all visitors to feel safe online. Please click on the picture link above if you would like some help or advice on e- safety.
